Portato forcelle da Cairo per farne 1 da due

Incontrato Angelo Brusa detto "ïl Brüsa" che tra le mille cose faceva anche le marmitte nel reparto corse in Aermacchi. Si presta alla revisione degli scarichi che poi saranno come usciti dal reparto corse.

Recuperato cuscinetti con Enrico.

Ritrovato gommini passacavo carter

Montato forcellone, forcella, ammortizzatori e gommini su Chicago.

Pulito volano accensione.

Dato filtro aria a Binetti -abile battilastra- per farne 5.

Elemento filtrante era di Fiat 500 (così parlo Brüsa).

Assemblato ganasce.

Recuperato mozzo saldato da Cairo.

Cominciato a pulire e controllare rubinetti benzina.

Ci sarebbe da dire molto di più, ma molto (come il ritrovamento dei rasamenti del forcellone, il ritrovamento di una 350SX intonsa ecc). ma il tempo è tiranno e per le scorse 2 settimane vi lascio così.

Short update on a long Easter hols.

Riccardo helped to pull the boken screw from one fork shaft.

The Prof helped to get rid of a fork circlip.

Fork components for 2 forks are now at Cairo's workshop to evaluate how to make one out of two.

Happy getting in touch with Angelo Brusa (The Brüsa) former Aermacchi/Cagiva Racing dept who was in charge -amog others for making exhauts systems on the fly.

His are the tow pipes to overhaul. So the Bajas will get something very official!

Gathered ball bearings with Enrico Minazzi.

Reassembled frame rear and front fork,

Cleaned rotor.

Gave filter box (which is apparently an item not existing anymore) to be rebuilt by a specialist in bending and folding metal sheets. 5 were ordered to have supply for the next 100years and making othere Baja restoration projects successful.

Assembled brake linings.

Rear hub fixed by Cairo soldering  missing alu parts.

Started overhauling gas valve.

A lot more is mentionable, such as finding the whashers of the rear forks or discovering a nearly untouched 350SX, but time is running away and that's all for the past 14 days.
